HTC Tattoo Vs T-Mobile Pulse

•November 8, 2009 • Leave a Comment

The Android mobile Operating System from Google created a plunge by most of the big brands of mobile phones. A series of Android based smart phones hit the market, but these were positioned in high-end expensive category. However, both HTC Tattoo and T-Mobile Pulse have taken the other course. These models are positioned for mass marketing taking low price as selling feature.

The appearance:
Generally speaking, both the models look attractive, although plastic is used for casing. T-Mobile Pulse features gleaming black casing with lighter shade to the edges. Additionally pleasing faux-carbon fibre effect has been punched. The power key and microSD card slot are placed on left side of the body. Right side has keys for camera and volume control. The front features a double acting home and back key that works for ‘back’ with a short press and a long press returns to ‘home’.T mobile pulse

Tattoo is also shrouded in plastic cover. Additionally covers will be available with options of designs through tattoomyhtc.com. Under the screen all the keys for home, menu, search, call and back are located.

The display:
T-Mobile Pulse is fitted with HVGA screen of 3.5 inch size. Apparently offering a bigger look, it is quite touch sensitive and provides clear images. Whereas, Tattoo sports QVGA screen of 2.8 inch size and it is resistive type hence multi touch feature is missing and needing more time for clear browsing.

Photographic features:
Pulse houses 3.2 MP Autofocus camera in addition to a VGA camera. The set has weak resolution for video capturing at 288 x 352. On the comparative scale The Tattoo is fitted with 3.1 MP Autofocus primary camera. The representation of images is certainly attractive on its resistive touch screen.HTC Tattoo

In conclusion, both the handsets provide a value for entry level use and offer a reasonably good feeling of possessing a smartphone. However, young users may be more attracted to the option of choosing Tattoo’s designer covers as a fascination for variety.

Sony Ericsson Aino – The Most Stylish Sony Ericson

•November 5, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Sony Ericson has always produced very well designed products but somehow it hadn’t created the phone with the style factor. But this search has ended with the Sony Ericsson Aino. Sony Ericsson Aino is an excellent phone with great music and camera in it. It has an excellent camera in it. The camera quality in this phone is of mind blowing 8 mega pixels and has great music technology from the walk man series of Sony Ericson. The phone has a menu that has many similarities with other Sony products like play station. This shows a great integration between Sony products. The camera has a lot of features in it such as the smile capture technology, anti shake technology. The camera also has a LED flash in it to support for the lack of natural light.Sony Ericsson Aino

The Sony Ericsson Aino has a lot of feature for networking. Sony Ericsson Aino has Wi-Fi connectivity in it. It has a software called media go which supports the downloading of video content to your phone through many websites. The other great feature that the device has is the availability of watching live TV. The great thing about this is that it allows for pausing live TV and viewing it later.

The mobile is a little heavy. It weighs around 107 grams. It has a dimension of 104x50x16 m. Sony Ericsson Aino is very compact and can be easily carried around. The other great feature of Sony Ericsson Aino is the well designed user interface. It is one of the most user friendly user interfaces seen on a Sony Ericson mobile phone. The one disturbing thing that I found was that the touch screen is useful only when the phone is used in multimedia mode and for all other modes key pad is to be used. Apart from this niggle it is a fine quality product from Sony Ericson.

T mobile pulse-screen size is its strength

•November 5, 2009 • Leave a Comment

One of the most awaited phones of this season is the t mobile’s pulse. It is a truly impressive device. Huawei has done a great job with this product. I keep wondering why huawei didn’t produce such high quality phones before. The thing that strikes you on seeing the mobile is its screen size. It has a massive screen in it. It is of about 3.5 inches in length. It has an excellent HVGA touch screen. Touch screens are the favors of this season and almost every mobile producer is introducing great touch screen models into the market. It is on the heavier side as it weighs about 130 grams. But given its looks the weight doesn’t concern you a lot. It is not a very slim phone either. It is about 13.5 mm in width.T mobile pulse

The impressive thing about the touch screen was its clarity in display. The response of the touch screen isn’t very fast and isn’t very slow either. It has a auto rotation in it which is as good as in any other phone in this category. The phone has a good internal memory capacity in it. It has a memory of about 2 GB. But it can be extended using a micro SD memory card. The phone has an excellent camera in it. It is of 3.2 mega pixel. It provides great quality photos.

The other feature that this phone has is that it operates on the android operating system. T mobile pulse has great external connectivity. It has wi-fi connectivity in it. It also has a blue tooth connectivity option too. It is a 3G enabled mobile which is a god thing to have for high speed data transfer and internet activity. On the whole it is a very good attempt by huawei to produce a good touch screen mobile.
